IRRT (ICTC Ram Rukmani Charitable Private Trust) is the philanthropic arm of the ICTC Group, one of Nepal’s largest business conglomerates. Established in 2020 as a private charitable trust, IRRT was created to institutionalize the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities of the ICTC Group. The Trust is named in honor of Mr. Ram Lal Shrestha and Late Mrs. Rukmani Devi Shrestha, the late founding patriarch and matriarch of the ICTC Group, embodying their legacy of compassion and community service. With active participation from the ICTC Group’s leadership, IRRT brings corporate resources and governance to social development initiatives, ensuring professional management and sustainability of its programs.
Built on decades of charitable work, IRRT is dedicated to uplifting marginalized and vulnerable communities across Nepal. We stand with those facing poverty, disability, gender-based violence, and social exclusion—especially girls, women, and children.
Every image tells a story of compassion and impact from empowering women and supporting education to providing healthcare, sanitation, and relief to those in need. The gallery captures the Trust’s ongoing journey of service across Nepal.
Through collaboration and community spirit, IRRT continues to bring positive change to countless lives — turning generosity into lasting transformation.
Overall, nearly 5000 individuals have benefited directly from IRRT programs over the years, with ripple effects in their families and communities. Qualitative feedback shows improved well-being, confidence, and community participation among beneficiaries. The Trust also maintained rigorous financial stewardship, ensuring donations were maximized for impact on the ground.

The trust is named in honor of the founder of the ICTC Group of Companies, Mr. Ram Lal Shrestha and his spouse Mrs. Rukmani Devi Shrestha. Mr. Ram Lal Shrestha successfully led and steered the company from a small stationery shop to what it now stands today as one of the largest business houses in Nepal.
The Group believes that Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is as important a part as is the business growth; and thus the establishment of ICTC Ram Rukmani Charitable Private Trust is an important step to institutionalize CSR activities from the Group companies/owners/directors.
The Trust has active participation from the owners/directors of the various ICTC Group of Companies.

Our GoalsIRRT’s mission is to support the poor, weak, and underprivileged segments of society who lack access to basic needs. In practice, this means prioritizing aid to extremely poor families, persons with disabilities, the elderly, orphans and vulnerable children, marginalized groups, victims of domestic abuse and gender-based violence, and patients suffering from terminal or severe illness who cannot afford care. By focusing on these groups, IRRT directly addresses inequality and social exclusion in Nepal.
We envision a just and inclusive society where every individual—regardless of gender, caste, age, ability, or cultural background—has access to fundamental rights, and opportunities to thrive.

As per relevant laws of Government of Nepal regarding private trusts, Land Reforms and Revenue Office has officially issued IRRT's trust registration certificate on 2077-04-16 pursuant to IRRT's application dated 2077-04-14.
